64 strands of edible collagen casing 30mm diameter. An edible alternative to hog or sheep casings, for fresh or smoked sausage feature uniform sizes to make filling easier for delicious linked sausages, brats, and more.  Collagen casings require no preparation for use, just don't overfill them, we recommend about filling 90% full, you need to be able to link and or leave enough space to hang over a rod when smoking.

Each caddie contains 64 strands, package will make about 465 kgs (1024 lb), each strand will make approxiamately 7.2 kg (14.5lbs).

Product does not require rinsing and soaking use directly from the package.

Fill to approx. 90% full as you will to be able to link and or enough sapce to hang over a rod in your smoke house.

Avoid water contact as the casing will come away from the sausage, ie water bath or ice water cool down after hot smoking.
