Allspice, Ground - Allspice is also known as Jamaica pepper, English pepper, myrtle pepper, newspice, pimenta or pimento. Allspice also works well in combination with chili powder, cloves, coriander, garlic, ginger, dry mustard powder, pepper, rosemary and thyme. All of those spices are commonly used in sausage making, for stews, and making Caribbean jerk.
