100 strands of edible beef collagen casing in 23mm diameter. An edible alternative to hog or sheep casings, for fresh or smoked sausage feature uniform sizes to make filling easier for delicious sausages, breakfast, pepperoni, meat sticks and more. Made from beef protein, these casings require no rinsing to prepare, ready to use right from the package.

Each caddie has 100 strands and does about 427kgs (940 lbs) of sausage, 1 strand  does about 4 kgs (9 lbs) of sausage.

Product does not require rinsing and soaking use directly from the package.

Fill to approx. 90% full as you will to be able ot link and or enough space to hang over a rod in your smoke house.

Caution you will need a narrow diameter stuffing tube, 12mm OD, not tapered.

Avoid water, ie water bath or ice water to cool down, the casing will split away.
