This tape is 2mm thick and is used on top of the heating bar. It is wider than the top tape. If you need the tape that lies under the heating element, order part # 10118007. This tape has been improved to be .2mm thicker than the Original 1088 tape. This part will fit both the Original MaxVac # 1088 and the New & Improved MaxVac # 1088A.
